Echo Spirits Distilling Co. Unveils Our Inaugural Bourbons: Introducing the 95-Proof and Barrel-Proof Expressions
Columbus, OH - May 22, 2023 - Echo Spirits Distilling Co. proudly announces the highly anticipated release of our first two bourbons: a remarkable 95-Proof Bourbon and a bold Barrel-Proof Bourbon. These exceptional expressions embody Echo Spirits' unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and delivering unparalleled flavor experiences.
A blend of two different common bourbon mash bills in a unique ratio, the results are anything but ordinary. A high-rye bourbon and a high-corn bourbon combine to create a new blend found nowhere else.
Founder Joe Bidinger talks about the flavor profiles:
"The 95-proof bottle is an easy drinker with notes of tea leaves, white chocolate, peppered cherry, marzipan, and pistachio. I took this to a friend's house and watched an entire bottle disappear quickly. It's a classic bourbon profile, but brings so much flavor to the table. If you keep looking, every sip brings something new.
The barrel-proof bourbon is a bit more challenging and geared toward the bourbon connoisseur. It has notes of pecans, cantaloupe, crème brulee, chipotle cherries, and fruited tobacco. To someone not used to drinking bourbons at barrel proof, it's going to taste "hot". But to someone who is used to that, there's a wave of flavors to be explored."
To celebrate this release, Echo Spirits Distilling Co. will be hosting an exclusive launch on May 27 from 10am-noon at our distillery. We invite everyone to come in, try a bottle, and take a few home.
